Accommodation and Travel

N.B.: It is recommended that guests attending the Tutorial Day or guests staying at the Western Sydney Parramatta campus download the free Western Sydney mobile app, available for iOS and Android. The app features maps of the campuses, as well as a real-time tracker for the university shuttles.

Parramatta is a vibrant multicultural city with many restaurants, cafes, historic sites, recreation facilities plus excellent public transport to Sydney Airport (via train) and other parts of Sydney (train, bus, ferry). We recommend staying at or in proximity to the Novotel Sydney Parramatta, where the conference will be held, or at our on-campus accommodation. Other accommodation options are also available in surrounding suburbs or in the Sydney CBD.

Novotel Sydney Parramatta accommodation

The conference has secured a limited number of discounted hotel rooms at the Novotel Sydney Parramatta, which is where the conference will be held. Standard rooms at the discounted rate are available from Tuesday, 6 December until Saturday, 10 December, at a rate of $200/night per person + 10% tax. Rooms are single or double and come with complimentary wireless internet for conference delegates. To reserve a room at the discounted rate, contact Novotel Sydney Parramatta directly at (+61) 2 9630 4999 or H8787-RE@accor.com and mention SST 2016 Conference (do not book online).
